Grand Designs Live
As an expression of our commitment to design, Abitalia will attend or exhibit at key design shows, both in the UK and Europe, and feature them on our website. A recent show we participated in was Grand Designs Live - the UK’s no. 1 consumer show for design and innovation, based on the Channel 4 TV series. Abitalia worked alongside Michael Wright Furniture and Photon AV to exhibit at Grand Designs Live held at the NEC Birmingham.
The stand featured the Sinuosa kitchen by Effeti – a leading kitchen manufacturer from Florence, appliances by Miele and Wolf, a Sydney sofa by BPA International and home entertainment system by Loewe. Within in a small space, the stand demostrated the excellent use of materials - matt lacquer units, granite countertop, Corian table, walnut veneer and black glass tall units.
Many visitors admired the Him & Her Chair by Casamania - available exclusively from Abitalia. Born from the Panton chair by Vitra, the sculptural form is certainly playful. Alongside the Her Chairs, the Sydney Composition from BPA International introduced the living element that is becoming increasingly common in kitchen design.
After the success of the this year's Grand Designs Live, Abitalia plan on exhibiting next year. The feedback from visitors, architects and other industry professionals was very positive. If you would like more information about this event, or future events, please contact us.
