Introduced at Milano '08 this special edition series of six wall mirrors in various shapes and sizes were designed by the revered Italian architect and designer Ettore Sottsass. The 'mirrors of dionysus' are particularly special as this was sottsass' final project before he died last year. The signature post-modern design realised by the graphic and colourful shapes will ensure these become modern day icons of design.

Glas Italia is a leading manufacturer of glass products. As a company they have experimented with innovative processes to produce beautiful pieces that are pure in form and aesthetics. The giano series of wall mirrors are created by glued mirror plates with 45-degree chamfered lacquered glass bands. With every piece made to order, each one can be realized in different sizes and colours.

The Oriente/Occidente and naked are two fine examples of Glas Italia's ability to engineer beauty. By fusing marble and glass together, the technical process remaining a closely guarded secret, two ancient materials in a contemporary context.
