Century Court
The Century Court is a contemporary housing development within a conservation area in Cheltenham. Consisting of apartments and houses the project introduced a contemporary design against a Regency context. The original kitchens however didn't reflect the contemporary design of the architecture.
Twice Oscar winning production designer commissioned Abitalia, to design a kitchen that both reflected the client’s eye for detail and the context of the penthouse apartment. The kitchen is from the Tuscan-based kitchen manufacturer Effeti. The choice of glossy white lacquer with natural oak veneer is beautifully emphasised by the dynamic curve. The curve is further enhanced by the use of Corian for the kitchen worktop; using Corian allowed the worktop, splash back and sinks to be completely seamless.
