Pittville Park
The contemporary penthouse apartment overlooks the beautiful Pittville Park, with the rooftops of Cheltenham in the distance. The kitchen is from the Tuscan-based kitchen manufacturer Effeti. The concept behind the kitchen stems from the connection with the park - from the choice of glossy lacquers to the Santa Fiora sandstone that spans both the countertops and splash back.
Abitalia worked alongside Louis Calleja of John Nash Interiors who worked on the apartment. Attention was paid to how the dining area and the kitchen would harmonise to create a space that could be enjoyed by both those cooking and those sitting at the dinning table. The kitchen island and the adjacent breakfast bar table successfully achieved this. The natural veneer of the wenge stained oak works beautifully with the wenge of the Potocco dinning table.
The kitchen was created with L'Evoluzione range from Effeti. The L'Evoluzione units are characterised by the proportions of the cabinetry and the groove detail that acts as a handle, as well as a line of continuity throughout the kitchen.
